James is the Managing Partner and founder of Thrive, where he helps founders and management teams across North America stay on top of their numbers, from everyday bookkeeping to fractional CFO support and financial advisory.
Over the years, James has worn a lot of hats: driving profitability and growth for portfolio companies, building finance teams from the ground up, and managing acquisitions from due diligence through integration. His background spans corporate finance, private equity, and venture capital, giving him a well-rounded view of what it really takes to build and grow a business, starting with clean, accurate books.
He loves helping founders turn messy financials into clear, reliable systems they can actually trust, so they can spend less time worrying about numbers and more time growing their business.
