Thrive
NOT A FIT
We don't file taxes.
Thanks for being straight with us. A tax return is the one thing we don't do, at any size. We keep books clean and tax-ready so your accountant can file without chasing you, but the filing itself stays with them.
Nothing has been booked. If we read that wrong, email contact@wethrivemgmt.com and we'll look again.

WHERE THE LINE IS
What we do and what we don't.
We don't file or plan
No returns, no tax planning, no representing you to the CRA. If filing is the whole job, a tax accountant is who you want and you'll be better off with one.
We do the part before it
Reconciled accounts, a monthly close, and a clean package your accountant can file straight from. Most of what makes a return expensive is the mess underneath it.
DO THIS INSTEAD
What we'd do in your position.
These are free, they work without us, and they are what we would set up first for a client anyway.
1
Close the month, even roughly
A close by the 15th that is mostly right beats a perfect one in March. You can't make decisions on numbers you don't have yet.

2
Watch cash, not profit
Profitable on paper and tight on cash is the most common way a growing business gets caught out. Thirteen weeks ahead is enough warning to do something about it.

Learn to read your own P&L
Most founders have never been shown which four lines actually matter. It takes five minutes and it changes what you ask your bookkeeper for.

LATER
Come back when this changes.
Crossing $3 million, raising money, or realising you're making calls on numbers that are six weeks old. Any one of those and it's worth another conversation.
